July 13, 2014; Sunset over grape vineyards near Granger, Washington. On Emerald road one can see vast fields of grape vines, nectarine orchards, apple orchards, etc.
Below, with some tweaking of color and light, I was able to see the gentle glow of the sunset settling on the tops of the vines, a detail that I didn't appreciate while taking this picture.
Beside the sunset, I wanted to show the long rows of vines as far as the eye can see. To do this I had to get as high as I can, which involved standing on top of a truck.
Common things can be made beautiful, however one can extract the beauty already inherent in common things.
